Buying a paid edition

Online purchases are not open yet. Organisations that buy an edition by contract, by writing to sales@ingres.si, receive the terms of sale with their order. Prices on the pricing page exclude VAT.

Software licenses

• The core of Ingressi is licensed under the MIT License.
• The code of the paid editions, in the ee/ directory, is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0: you may read, run and modify it, but not offer it as a managed service or move, change, disable or circumvent the license-key checks.

What a license key does

• A license key gives the right to use the paid features of its edition, on the number of nodes it names, until it expires.
• A license never touches traffic: proxying, TLS, the WAF and sign-in keep working with an expired, removed or invalid key, and paid features that are already set up keep running.
• After a license expires, paid settings stay editable for 30 days, then become read-only. Deleting or turning off a paid feature never needs a license.
• Node counts are soft: going over them shows a notice in the dashboard and never blocks anything.
• Features of the Community edition stay free.
